About Mind Soma Health

Whether you are coming in for a single yoga or Reiki session, need one coaching session to work through something specific, or are looking for more ongoing support, you can begin wherever it makes sense for you.

There is no predetermined path at Mind Soma Health. A single session may be exactly what you need. Or it may open the door to something you want to explore more deeply over time.

That flexibility is intentional.

Mind Soma Health was built around a simple belief: people are more than the problem they are trying to solve. What we experience in one area of life rarely exists entirely on its own. Our mindset, patterns, nervous system, physical wellbeing, relationships, responsibilities, lived experiences, values, and circumstances can all influence how we feel, how we respond, and what becomes possible.

That is why we don’t start with the service. We start with the person.

Looking at the whole person

What brings you through the door may be very specific. You may want to feel stronger, sleep better, manage stress, work through a difficult decision, feel more grounded, or simply have an hour where you can slow down.

We can start there.

But we also recognize that what is happening in one part of life may be connected to something happening somewhere else. Stress can affect the body. Physical depletion can affect how we think and respond. Longstanding patterns can shape our choices. Work, relationships, responsibilities, resources, and lived experience can all influence what feels possible at any given moment.

A whole-person approach gives us room to notice those connections without assuming they are there.

Just as important is creating an environment where you can show up as yourself. You don’t need to have the right words, a polished explanation, or a particular version of yourself ready for the room. At Mind Soma Health, we want you to feel comfortable being honest about what you’re experiencing, without judgment and without having to filter yourself for our benefit.

Discretion matters here, too. What clients choose to share may be personal, professional, or both, and we treat that trust with care. Your work with Mind Soma Health is approached with respect for your privacy and discretion, regardless of who you are or what brings you through our door. For clients who require an additional level of privacy, confidentiality agreements are available.

Sometimes the work is straightforward. Sometimes a pattern begins to emerge. Sometimes what seemed like the problem turns out to be only one part of it.

The goal isn’t to analyze every part of your life. It’s to understand enough of what is happening to make the support we offer more relevant, practical, and useful to you.

Reconnect. Restore. Realign.™

These three words have been part of Mind Soma Health from the beginning. They aren’t steps you are expected to follow or a formula every client moves through. They reflect three ways the work can support you, depending on what you need.

Reconnect

Sometimes the first need is simply to reconnect—to yourself, your body, what you’re feeling, what matters to you, or what may have gotten lost beneath the demands of everyday life.

Reconnection can also mean understanding. Noticing patterns. Recognizing what is working and what isn’t. Becoming more aware of the signals your body and nervous system are sending. Seeing something that may have been difficult to see while you were busy living it.

Restore

Sometimes you don’t need to figure anything out. You need somewhere to exhale.

Restoration may come through movement, rest, breath, meditation, Reiki, sound, nervous system regulation, or simply having time that isn’t asking anything more of you.

The intention isn’t to escape your life. It’s to support the capacity you need to live it.

Realign

And sometimes you know something needs to be different.

Realignment is where awareness begins to inform how you move forward. It might involve a decision, a boundary, a shift in perspective, a new practice, a different response to an old pattern, or a clearer sense of what matters now.

Realignment doesn’t mean getting everything perfectly in place. It means bringing your choices and actions into closer relationship with what you know, need, value, and have the capacity to sustain.

You may come to Mind Soma Health for one of these things, move among all three over time, or never think about them at all. You don’t need to fit your experience into our framework.

The framework is here to help us better support yours.

What the work can look like

There is no single way to work with Mind Soma Health.

For some clients, the relationship is simple and specific: a private yoga session, Reiki, meditation, or another restorative practice when they need it. Others come with a particular question, decision, challenge, or goal they want to work through. And some choose a longer engagement that gives us time to explore patterns, build capacity, practice new ways of responding, and support meaningful transformation over time.

Mind Soma Health also works with organizations to bring wellness practices into the places where people work and gather. Offerings can be adapted for groups, teams, and workplace settings—from yoga, meditation, and stress-management practices to broader employee wellness experiences.

Whether the work is individual or organizational, it may draw from coaching, movement, mindfulness, nervous system regulation, somatic and experiential practices, or other tools within the Mind Soma Health practice. What we use—and how much we use—is guided by the people involved, the purpose of the work, and what is appropriate within the scope of the relationship.

Behind that flexibility is a combination of experience in wellness, coaching, teaching, strategic problem-solving, and complex transformation work. Mind Soma Health brings those perspectives together rather than asking you to separate the parts of yourself that don’t always fit neatly into one category.

Sometimes you may leave with something to practice or consider. Sometimes with a clearer understanding of a pattern or a decision. Sometimes feeling stronger, quieter, or more grounded.

And sometimes the most useful thing we can offer is simply the experience you came for.

There doesn’t always need to be more.

Begin where you are

You don’t need to have everything figured out before you begin.

You may know exactly what you need. You may simply know that something doesn’t feel quite right. You may be tired, curious, overwhelmed, ready for something different, or just looking forward to an hour that belongs to you.

All of those are enough.

Come for the yoga class. Book the Reiki session. Bring the question you’ve been turning over in your mind. Come because you’re ready to do deeper work—or because you’re not.

There is no expectation that your first step needs to become a second one.

But if it does, we’ll meet you there.

At Mind Soma Health, you don’t have to arrive as anyone other than who you are, and you don’t need to know where the work will lead before it begins.

Begin where you are. We’ll start there.
